Homage to Mack Sennett 1934 by Rene Magritte

Review of the artwork by Mário Henrique R. Bernard at 2005-05-21

Agreeding with Darren, this artwork could be other representation of Magritte's dead mother. But I think it have more one significance: every of us have hidden disguises, or masks, that we use in the everyday life. We place our disguises inside furnitures and we use them conveniently. Everyone of us wears masks everytime, we need, maybe, to be more "us" and less disguised as "others".
