AS the Surrealists progress into the unconscious they experience Yggdrasil, The World Tree, Druid and Teutonic psychological expereinces of Ancient Memory - here and with Dali's Unicorn with its threal Realms which manifest on earth. In the 12th and 13th century the European artist experienced God as a Woman in the Earth. IN the Renaissance onward they begin to experience God as a Man in the Sky. European culture meets a clear turning point in these pictures and begins to find things it has lost - a nature of personality it has lost - hundreds of years back. Parthalon Flyingsnake DeCoursy
