This peace shows a woman , laying her head down on a plain table, holding a black , african mask upright next to her pale face. I think this image is full of morality and comparison between cultures and also of the inner world of humanity. The closed eyes show calmness, spirituality, dreams, maybe fantasies... the face and the mask cast dark, sharp shadows onto the table which showes the contrast between them and the outer world. The background is plain, not to distract the viewer from the photographed subject and to give the piece the plainness and simpleness.
