Poetry of America by Salvador Dali
Parthalon Flyingsnake DeCoursy Views a Masterpiece by Bernie Quigley on 2005-06-16

This painting is a masterpiece. There is something of Willa Cather and Thomas Hart Benton to it. The tower suggests Albert Kahn's work in upper Midwest (Ann Arbor, Michigan). Note that the ooouze which leaks from the Christ wound transposed from Dali's "Geopoliticus Child Watching the Birth of the New Man" links top of composition to bottom but changes from the Blood of Christ to oil in this painting, pooling in the approximation of Texas. Prescient. Parthalon Flyingsnake DeCoursy
